This is a seedling of Ichang Lemon, not a grafted plant. Most Ichang Lemon seeds are nucellar, which means they produce a genetic clone of the mother plant. I believe seedlings will help push the cold hardiness of citrus, because if an unusually cold winter causes die back, they can resprout from the roots.
