plant breeding

Homo sapiens' co-evolutionary relationship with plants has led to caloric abundance & culinary deliciousness. Our current era of gaian sickness calls for a conscious effort to create pest and disease resistant, and climate resilient cultivars.

At this precarious time in human history we have the benefit of instantaneous knowledge sharing and global postage. The spectrum of plant breeding potentiality ranges from mere survival to ecological luxury. Each cultivar can be thought of as a living technology evolved out of the collective labor of ancient and modern horticulturalists and plant species. Enhancing productivity, nutrient density, and resilience ripples outward for the benefit of all beings. Our plant companions forms the foundation of a thriving ecological society.
