These seeds were grown and harvested on our permaculture farm in southern IL.
ZONE HARDINESS: 4-8
SEED TREATMENT: hot water scarification- pour hot water over seeds and let sit for 24 hours, repeat the process if the seeds do not absorb the water.
USES: Chop and drop species for nitrogen and biomass. I'm planting them at the base of my black locust timber trees to act as a natural tree guard to prevent buck rub.
OTHER USES: Erosion control, windbreak, beautiful flowers, nectar
